About the Journal

Aim And Scope

Jurnal Borneo Administrator: Media Pengembangan Paradigma dan Inovasi Sistem Administrasi Negara (known as JBA or Jurnal Borneo Administrator) is a scholarly journal that dedicated to publishing and disseminating the results of research, innovation, and development in the field of public administration.

The scope of this journal covers experimental and analytical research in the field of public administration. The topics include: (1) Public Policy, (2) Public Management, (3) Public Sector Innovation, (4) Decentralization, Regional Autonomy and Governance, (5) Local Politics and Democracy, and (6) Rural / Village Autonomy and Governance.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript or paper submitted to this online journal will go through 2 review stages. first, an initial review by the section editor, and if the paper is accepted it will proceed to a second review by peer-reviewers at least 2 (two) professional reviewers.. Reviewers are unaware the information of the authors and authors are also unaware the information of reviewers (double blind review). The accepted manuscript will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process.

Open Access Policy

JBA provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public to supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Jurnal Borneo Administrator is published by Puslatbang KDOD Lembaga Administrasi Negara, Indonesia, and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Article Processing Charges

Every manuscript submitted to JBA will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles. 

Plagiarism Check

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by JBA Editorial Board before the manuscript reviewed by external reviewers, and every manuscript should not exceed 20% similarity score.

Copyright Agreement

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

References Management

Every manuscript submitted to JBA shall use a reference management software/tool. It is recommended to use Mendeley reference management tool.
